Principal's Message

Welcome to Hazel Ingram Elementary School, "Where the Yellowjacket Tradition Begins."  We are so glad you are visiting our campus website.  I am Vickie Griffith, campus principal.   It is my honor to lead this wonderful campus where I had the privilege of attending Kindergarten through 3rd grade many years ago.  This campus holds so many great memories for me, as a child, and it is a dream come true to be leading it as campus principal.

Here is a little bit about our campus:  Hazel Ingram Elementary School is an early childhood center, with about 420 students from diverse backgrounds.  We have grades Pre-K 3, Pre-K 4, PPCD (Pre-School Programs for Children with Disabilities) and Kindergarten.   We are a Dual Language Campus with bilingual sections in all of our grade levels.    We offer a S.T.E.A.M.  lab(Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) and Outdoor Learning Center for our students as well as two computer labs.  Each classroom has a wealth of technology with 10 i-pads and Promethian boards.  We are glad to say that our students are given lots of opportunities in many educational areas with "hands-on" activities to help them grow their learning.  At Hazel Ingram Elementary School, we are all about building the foundations of early literacy and numeracy while making learning fun for our students.

Don't Forget: You are always welcome at Hazel Ingram Elementary School, "Where the Yellowjacket Tradition Begins."

Take care!

Vickie Griffith, Principal
