Assistant Principal

Hello, I am Vickie Griffith, the Assistant Principal of Ingram Elementary School. I am proud to be back in Ferris ISD, where my education began.  I am originally from Ferris where I had the privilege of going to Kindergarten through third grade right here at Ingram Elementary School.  Currently I live in Scurry, Texas with my husband, Thomas.  We have three grown children: Kaytlin, Tyler, and John-Thomas as well as two daughter-in-laws, Brenna and Maggie along with one granddaughter, Georgia, and a new granddaughter on the way.

I have been in education for 23 years.  I have taught 1st grade for eight years, 2nd grade for five and a half years, and seventh grade for a half year.

For the past three years I was a principal with Scurry-Rosser ISD.  Before becoming a teacher and administrator, I was a campus secretary, nurse’s aide, para-professional and bus driver, all for Ferris ISD. So as you can see, Family, Education, and Kids are my life! I am honored to be back home and a Ferris Yellowjacket once more!

If I can ever be of service to you, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I look forward to seeing you at Ingram Elementary School, where you are always welcome.  Take care!
